  1. Hi,
We bought a Labrador 30 days female puppy which was very plump and active at that time. Now, it is 50 days old very thin and inactive. I want my pup to have plump so that it looks very attractive also suggest when and how should I basic train my pup.
    Looking forward for your suggestion.

  2. We got a female lab puppy back in October at 8 weeks of age. She was trained to sit, stay, lay down, bite softly, etc… She is now 10 months old and we have entered a new phase. She is an indoor/outdoor dog (indoors when we are home, outside when we leave and at night). She is constantly finding things are 4 kids leave out (and within reach) eating them (i.e. phones, remote controls, clothes, newspapers, etc…) We give her lots of toys to chew on but it’s becoming costly to replace some of the things. Also she is pulling me down the street when we try to walk on a leash. We trained her to “heel” or stay “right here” when she was younger but she gets so excited to go walk that it takes 5-10 minutes to calm her down enough so that she does walk right next to me. Is this a phase or have we totally messed her up with not sticking to consistently training her over the last few months? She is a very sweet dog and we are glad to have her but my husband and me are becoming frustrated with her behavior lately. I know we haven’t spent as much time training her but any advice would be appreciated.

  3. Hi!
My girlfriend gave me a lab as my puppy was stolen, the lab she gave is THE BEST! he is already a year and a month old. He is very smart and understands so far when I trained him, but I find hard to make him understand when we are at the park to come to me when I call him, and also I have tried to teach him to cross the street and he doesn’t seem to get that he needs to be careful with the cars. What can I do?

    1. Hi Kate,
Here is our Recall Training Centre You’ll find lots of articles there to help you. If you dog is totally deaf, you will need to train him with hand signals. I believe you can buy a vibrating collar to get your dog’s attention so that you can give him the recall signal for example.
      Best wishes
